Learn Spanish - Free WordPower app good for

I was having a problem with sound, but the developer quickly addressed my email and advised that: "iPhone apps all seem to share the same volume settings." So even though I had the IPhone ringer turned up in General, I had to turn the IPhone ringer up from within the game I had been playing, not as a game option, but the actual ringer, and then everything worked great. And I now find this to be a handy application.

This app is okay. The fact that it only gives you one word per day makes you learn Spanish at an extremely slow pace. Not to mention that they give you words that youll never really use (or use extremely rarely). I mean, some of the words I got were words like destorillador (screwdriver) or me falta valor para ser (Im not brave enough to be), which Ive never used. If you want to learn Spanish over the period of a few years, this is the app for you, but if not, I wouldnt suggest this app.

Its an all right app for just learning a little at a time. If youre planning a trip to Madrid in a week and you need to learn Spanish quick this isnt the best. But if you want a few words here and there and a little help learning this is a great app,

Very helpful. As in all learning you must be prepared to apply oneself.

This app gives you a new word to learn every day. Most of the time the words are used in sentences. There is an audio button which allows you to hear the proper pronunciation, and an audio button which allows you to record yourself and listen to your own pronunciation. There are also flash cards which allow you to practice what you have learned. This app isnt going to teach you grammar and sentence structure but is great for learning vocab words and how to use those words.

Some bad moments

This app worked fine until two wks ago. It just stopped doing what it says it does altogether. It does no longer store words in wordbank. The pronounciation of the word no longer works. And it does not give new word any more. Its been displaying Abordar/board for the past wk. Wrote to report problem, but My emails remain ignored. Disapointed, and wondering if this is intentionally in order to get me to purchase their upgrade!! If so , might as Well shop and check out all apps Totally disapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not very intuitive. Cannot quickly and logically progress beyond some natural gas nonsense in the first window. Just an offer to pay $10. Show me that youre worth it first.

Popup form covers the application all the time. Not possible to use at all.

This app is good for people who have patience because it gives you a new word everyday. I wouldnt suggest getting it though because lately it only gives you words you already have.
